Welcome to Student Services! We believe in nurturing the well-being of the whole child. Every day, we support and facilitate academic, behavioral, physical and emotional development so that all students can reach their maximum potential.

Student Services’ coordinated school health model was adopted from the Centers for Disease Control and includes: counseling, psychological and social services; health services; healthy school climate (safe and drug free schools, violence prevention; comprehensive school health education; nutrition education; health promotion; and parent/family and community partnerships in student health. Based on careful analysis of student needs, evidence-based programs and services are implemented, monitored and evaluated in an effort to increase student achievement.

The Student Services Department encompasses: Bullying Prevention, Crisis Intervention, Health Education and Services, Psychological Services, Substance Abuse and Prevention, Social Work Services, and Section 504.

Student Services also works closely with the Department of Children and Families to ensure interagency collaboration for students who are known to DCF, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement regarding missing children.
