Blake Academy and Daniel Jenkins Academy are truly “excellent!”
Both schools were honored as Magnet Schools of Excellence this year by Magnet Schools of America. The awards are presented to schools that demonstrate an “exemplary commitment” to academic standards, curriculum innovation, diversity, specialized teaching staffs, and parent and community involvement.
Blake and Daniel Jenkins were also recognized last week during the Magnet Schools of America National Conference in San Diego.
