Polk County Public Schools is proud to offer a rich education in the fine arts in all its schools. Our arts education programs include music, theatre, dance and visual arts.

A well-rounded fine arts education remains a priority at all our schools. Along with independently acquiring and perfecting skills specific to their art content area, fine arts students develop their ability to collaborate and work in teams and hone their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. The arts are a powerful way to reach students, and to unlock within themselves a greater understanding of the cultural dimensions of our world.

Students learn to work together on projects as well as explore their own individual talents. They are encouraged to be fearlessly creative as they participate in plays, concerts, art exhibitions and more!
