It’s a Focused on Excellence Friday! And our next winner is … Mandy Matha from Caldwell Elementary!
It’s now the fourth year of our Focused on Excellence campaign, which recognizes the hard work and contributions of PCPS employees.
Once again, employees were asked to nominate their colleagues from various departments for a chance to receive some great prizes and be recognized on our communication channels. This is the fourth and final group of winners for 2023-24.
Mandy is the lead nighttime custodian at Caldwell Elementary. She helps keep the campus looking good, but says there are other aspects to her job that are just as important.
“It’s the little, anonymous, thoughtful things you can do around campus and for people just to make them shine for a moment,” she said. “Many times, the custodian is the first person you meet on campus and perhaps the last person you see when you leave. A friendly greeting and a good first impression are priceless.”
