It’s never too early for Christmas!
Today was PCPS’ annual Kiddie Christmas event. Every year, employees from our Information Systems and Technology (IST) division raise money to provide gifts for students in need.
This year the IST team raised approximately $5,500 from PCPS employees and donors. The money was used to buy toys, clothing, hams and new bicycles for pre-K students from Pinewood Elementary. The kids were surprised with their gifts when they showed up to the Bartow Civic Center this morning.
A special thanks to Applied Innovation, Publix and SAP for their help sponsoring this event. And thank you to the many PCPS employees and departments who made Christmas extra special for these kids.
