It can take a lot of work to turn your life around, and we think that’s worth celebrating.
Today marked PCPS’ 30th annual About-Face Awards, which recognize middle and high school students who have shown significant improvement in their attendance, behavior or academics. The honorees gathered with family members and school staff, and each received a medallion as a symbol of their progress.
More than 50 students were recognized at this year’s event, held at First Baptist Church in Bartow. A special thanks to our keynote speaker, Judge Brenda Ramirez from the 10th Judicial Circuit.
The About-Face Awards are made possible through the generous sponsorship of TECO Energy. Congratulations again to our student honorees!
