Polk County Public Schools is seeking nominations for our District Advisory Council (DAC).
This is an opportunity to get involved in your local school system, and support our critical mission to provide a high-quality education to all students, preparing them for successful lives beyond the classroom.
DAC members provide valuable insight and feedback to the superintendent on a variety of issues, with an emphasis on our district’s strategic plan. They also serve as a link between PCPS administration, our schools and the community.
PCPS wants to tap a wide range of perspectives for the council’s membership, including community members, business partners, faith-based leaders, parents and school advisory council (SAC) representatives.
DAC membership is limited and requires an annual commitment of five meetings to participate. Applications must be submitted no later than June 25, 2024.
