Our own Superintendent Fred Heid has received the Administrator Advocacy Award from the Florida Association for Media in Education (FAME)!
He was presented with the award today during FAME's annual conference in Orlando. PCPS media specialists nominated Heid based on his proactive leadership and advocacy for school library programs -- as well as supporting access to those programs for all students. He was also nominated for his efforts to fund school libraries, and promote a love of reading in our district.
We're very proud. Thank you to our media specialists, and the folks at FAME!
