WHHS’ Serenity Hardy is Miss Basketball 2026

Her name is Serenity Hardy, but you can call her Miss Basketball.

Hardy, from Winter Haven High, has been named 2026's Miss Basketball by Florida Dairy Farmers. The honor cements her status among the very best girls high school basketball players in the state.

Hardy, a senior, averaged 23.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.1 assists per game this season. Last year, she averaged 19.2 points per game and won a state title with the Blue Devils. Her accolades include three-time Player of the Year honors from The Ledger.

WHHS is now the only program in Florida history to have three Miss Basketball winners, including LaQwesha Gamble in 2005, and Tiffany Hayes in 2008. The award is decided by a statewide panel of high school coaches and media representatives.

Hardy has signed to play basketball at the University of South Florida. Congratulations, Miss!
