PURE Process
All external providers of technology integration, instructional content, and professional learning must complete the Purchasing and Utilizing Resources Effectively (PURE) process. Additionally, pursuant to Florida Administrative Code, Amendments to Rule 6A-1.0955 and Senate Bill 662, all vendors applications that access student personally identifiable information (PII), must complete a student Data Privacy Agreement (DPA).
This process ensures that technology and services provided by vendors are aligned with Florida Standards and the PCPS Strategic Plan as well as adheres to student privacy laws and cybersecurity standards. Vendors are prohibited from advertising, demonstrating, and/or showing non-approved web apps, software, and technology services to school-based personnel.
