Internal Auditing Services

Purpose

Internal Audit reports directly to the School Board and provides essential support in achieving the goals and objectives of the School District. The Audit Charter outlines the implementing principles and the department’s focus on best management practices. With the assistance of an Audit Committee, Internal Audit Services evaluates and guides the School Board’s effectiveness in governance, risk management, and internal controls to safeguard taxpayers’ resources.
